LiquidAK
No more than £10m, but really, no more than £7.5m. Doesn't really fit our style and wouldn't want him starting for us at all.
Teasy
12% of any profit Source?, first it was supposed to be 25%, than people claimed 25% of anything over 35M million (which seems pointless) and now its 12% of anything over 35 million.

Sifu
Again, I can't see him signing for the cockneys when he is supposed to have been 'home sick' since he moved to Liverpool. Don't forget that he would be reunited with his buddy, Kevin Nolan. The Dream Team reunited . It would be a good move for all concerned really. Carroll would fit in well with Allardyce's ethos. Go on then Sullivan/Gold/Brady, make Carroll an offer he can't refuse so that he doesn't end up back here!
Guest Recoba
The opinions on here are different to the ones I have heard in real life. The first poll is much more reflective of general opinion I reckon. People would quite like him back. Who really thinks we would consider £20 million? We are opportunistic and looking to rape Liverpool.
jdckelly
West Ham have stepped up their interest in Liverpool striker Andy Carroll by making a bid that could potentially break the club's transfer record. The fresh offer would see Carroll initially move on loan with a commitment to buy the 23-year-old next summer in a deal worth more than £15m. However, it is understood he does not view West Ham as a serious option. The England international's preference, should he be forced to leave Anfield, is still to return to Newcastle United. The Tyneside club, who retain a strong interest in the player, are monitoring the situation. so basically what we already had rejected but with a lot more risk for Liverpool Yup as I've said a few times the porn barons have season tickets to sell and what better way than create false hope of signing a "big name"

Dave
Mirror reckon they've offered £17m as the permanent fee. They also reckon ours was £13m.

midds
What they offer is irrelevant if Carroll doesn't want the move. The club could accept any offer but if he digs his heels in then he goes nowhere. Literally.
olliemort
13 million is too much for him evermind 17 million.
Guest BooBoo
Given that Joe fucking Allen is being talked about as a £10million player, Carroll is probably valued correctly as circa £15million.
Cajun
He would do well at West Ham because they would build a side around him. Here he should be a backup player and that isn't going to help his career. Would keep West Ham where they belong, just below mid-table.
Guest neesy111
17m for a striker that scored 4 league goals last season and didn't miss too much of the season.

Joe Allen is 100x the footballer Carroll will ever be. I'd pay 10m for Allen and not even blink.

Stuy_O
What has Joe Allen done to achieve such a price tag though? 15 million is an outragous fee if Liverpool are paying it.

I never said he's worth that much but he's a miles better footballer than Carroll that's for damn sure. Sure his price is inflated but whose isn't these days? unlike Carroll he has ability just because Liverpool look like signing him don't mean i have to completely ignore that and pretend he's s***. relámpago blanco
I thought we'd in effect bid 13 million, it's a pr stunt and alot of bollocks imo. Do we have to break our club record now to compete?

Stuy_O
Not saying he's rubbish and he will no doubt be perfect for what Rodgers has planned, but your talking about someone who had a decent season and nothing more than that (imo). Thought Liverpool would have learned their lesson by now with Henderson.
