Kaizero
I'm glad this forum isn't NUFC manager. "I don't like that guy, let's try the one we never see for no good reason as we never see him."
RupertCommunicator
Why, because players would get fucking crucified if they slipped up? Some of the bastards on here bay for blood man!
RupertCommunicator
Oi! Fucking modifying your post, so mine doesn't make sense!
Kaizero
No, but because we're not at the training ground so we don't know how well the players perform and so on. If all our managers don't seem to rate Xisco, I'm inclined to believe he's not that good until Pardew (or whoever comes next) decides he thinks he's good enough to play in the first XI. Pilko
All of our managers rated Ramage and he was shite.
Cajun
Training doesn't matter for some reason.
RupertCommunicator
How do you explain how Matty Pattison got a game then?
Cajun
What do pattison or ramage have to do with it?
Pilko
How do you explain how Matty Pattison got a game then? Injury crisis to be fair, he was never really picked on merit. No excuses on Ramage though, was picked quite a lot when we had able deputies.
Kaizero
Even Ali Dia got a Premier League game. It's a shit argument as I'm argumenting that our managers clearly don't see Xisco as good enough to be a starter, whilst the explanation for the likes of Ramage would be that at the time our managers thought he was good enough to start. Which in hindsight was wrong, as it could still turn out to be wrong not playing Xisco. I'm just saying I'm inclined to have faith in our managers until they prove me otherwise as they see more of the players than we ever will.
RupertCommunicator
Yeah, but if we all showed blind faith in the club, all these threads would be one post long and I would be in bed right now.
Kaizero
It's not blind faith. Xisco's not done anything that we've seen to merit a starting position other than being a striker in the squad of NUFC. He had one assist at Villa, playing as a winger. Yet that apparently is the main argument people have for starting him as a striker.
Cajun
If we put blind faith in the players it would be the same.
Guest BlacknWhiteArmy
Xisco must be really really shit.
RupertCommunicator
Fucking hell man, you've missed my point again! I'm going to ignore your posts, especially now you've gotten rid of that mint avatar.
Kaizero
Like you ever even had a point. "I think Best is shit, therefore, Xisco must play! Yayyyyyy, unicorns!111"

Neither had Best before the West Ham game to be fair, and that didn't go too bad.

But Best might have done something we've not seen to merit a starting position. By all accounts he's been very good in training.
J7
Shola's supposed to be world class in training, it doesnt mean much. Many brilliant players have been awful trainers too.
wyn davies
I'd give Xisco a shout,Best will based on previous history never perform like he did against the hammers again, Shola as usual never lives upto the hype.

Guest
"Javito and Xisco strengthen the Deportivo frontline" is the headline, and last line says, "Xisco & Juanito add to the already signed Argentinian Jose Sand, which the club confirmed this Saturday".
