Guest firetotheworks
The referee didnt cost us the match man. Wake up, the score was 3-0. At 1-0 we showed no desire to get back into it and were content to feel sorry for ourselves. Against Man City when it happened the opposite was true. We need new players and we need to lose the fucking attitude and have a passion and almost an anger to win.

BONTEMPI
Referee cost us this game No he alone f***ing didn't. We cost us the game. Stop making excuses. True But I get heartily p*ssed off by some people on here thinking atrocious homer referees don't cost us dearly. He did as many others have this season. Guest LucaAltieri
WE WERE THE BETTER TEAM TILL THE PENALTY Give it a couple of hours. Rational eyes will see it. You've got no chance at the moment. Referee cost us this game with an honourable mention to poor finishing. It's 3-0. Do we play first goal wins or something? You know exactly what I mean. Before the penalty that never was, Blackburn didn't look like they stood a chance. The goal brought them to life, our heads dropped, and it's been downhill ever since. The penalty changed the game. The heads aren't supposed to drop! It shouldn't be taken for granted that professional footballers just give up when a bad referee costs them a goal. Players are human. Of course it takes the wind out of your sails. No amount of professionalism or earning £50k a week will change that.
Guest Phil K
We cost ourselves this game with an embarrassing performance from a shocking midfield. Styles made a bad decision, but to go so limp and awful there is no excuse for. QFE If you don't score you don't win. We should have had the game tied up by half time but our forwards are f***ing pathetic. Certain players have their eyes on their next club - thats the problem with Owen, anyways. Its human nature when things are going bad, one little knock affects the collective mental state of the team. This is where the manager earns his wedge. Sadly for us, its JK. Cronky
The first goal was going to be crucial, and our back four always looked a bit dodgy. It was a silly challenge by Edgar for the penalty. He got the wrong side of the player and then panicked. We still aren't great at keeping the ball. The minute we're put under pressure, we either hoof it long or give it away. Still, at least Butt won't be playing next match.
morgs
WE WERE THE BETTER TEAM TILL THE PENALTY yes but even then we werent that good. poor excuse of a manager fucking lost this game. ok, so the penalty spurred them but christ, then we fell apart. a good team would have just got on with the job. Once again though we offer fuck all in the front 6. owen was fucking useless as usual and those of you who worship at his feet and live on a reputation that was built years ago, but has not been supported while he is here can fuck off. some people said after the hull game, ah he missed 3 today but it means he will score today. maybe 4 years ago, but you now have to relaise he is fucking shit as a striker. Keegan got the best out of him not playing him there cos his legs have gone. shit in attack, shit without the ball = OWEN. some users need to realise that. steve_69
For some reason we can't play well in the 2nd half under Kinnear. It's like we go in at half time and come out a significantly weaker team. We miss Martins a lot. Owen can fuck off as far as i'm concerned, he just misses chance after chance and contributes very little else. At least Matins can create something out of nothing. All in all another shit day, another dodgy as fuck penalty and another shocking 2nd half performance. I wasn't prepared to accept relegation was a realistic possibility until today but now......... Guest LucaAltieri
The penalty was a fucking joke. But it was scored with A THIRD OF THE MATCH remaining. If we were indeed the better team we'd have come back into it, rather than collapsing to a 3-0 raping. Aye, then we were hit by a second 5 minutes later from a long ball. So we were 2-0 down with less than a third of the match remaining. Knock-on effect. I take your point, but for me it was the penalty that changed the game. We did not deserve a 3-0 loss on that performance.
