Mike
Why the late start?
Nobody
You know, that's not a bad XI. Get Rooney in ahead of Heskey and A. Young instead of Downing, and that's looking solid. Have Barry and Carrick helping the defence and spreading the balls from midfield, then have the front four running at people Man U style. Really happy for Jagielka to get a start as well, he's deserved it.
Nobody
Why the late start? Cause it's in Spain.

Syrette
Johnson, Jagielka Downing still sleeping with Capello or something.
The Prophet
How the fuck is: a) Young still not getting a start? b) Downing, one of the most overrated players in the leage even in the squad?
Guest Edd
I assume Ashley Young is dead? Although I'd still have his rotting corpse in the starting line-up ahead of Downing.
Syrette
a) Young still not getting a start? He'll get 45 minutes, I don't see what the problem is, doesn't really matter what half.
Pilko
What is the maximum amount of subs permitted to come on in this game?
Yorkie
Going off what Brummie's said, Young's had a pretty poxy season. That said, he's an infinitely better option than Stewart Downing and he should be flipping starting these games. Ah well, happy with that line-up. Looking forward to seeing Agbonlahor and Heskey. Syrette
What is the maximum amount of subs permitted to come on in this game? 5 I do believe. Capello has promised club managers that he'll be making several half-time subs.

Downing played well against Germany according to all reports and therefore keeps his place.
Guest quklaani
Glad for Pique, always knew he was talented even if he wasn't prepared to wait for his chances with us. Good God though, that Spain midfield scares me. To think that Fabregas doesn't always get into the team and Arteta never even gets in the squad...
