Middlesbrough have lost on penalties, so as it stands Newcastle win the group on goal difference, a goal for Gateshead though and I think they drop out of the top 2 qualifying places.

Where is Ben Parkinson btw? Injured? Seemed to have a good start to the season, but hasn't played in a while.

He played last month for the under 21’s

He’s played on the right wing a fair bit too, looks decent.

Just read on .com that we've appointed Robbie Stockdale to assist O'Carroll with the U23 side. I thought he came across really well when he was on the Sunderland documentary a few years ago, seemed a good guy. Hopefully another decent appointment.

Newcastle United have added Theo Benjamin to their youth ranks following an impressive trial period, with Charlton talent Lesecond Yeutembip also sealing a move to the North East.

Theo is the son of former Leicester, Brighton and Crystal Palace forward Trevor Benjamin and has signed a two-year deal on Tyneside, becoming the latest addition to our U15s alongside Yeutembip; who previously captained youth side Barking & Dagenham.

Yeutembip is a 14-year-old centre-back who comes from Charlton’s highly-regarded Academy. The rangy defender has traveled with the U15s to Japan this week and featured in a defeat to a J-League youth side in Tokyo today.

Yeutembip played for England Under-15 against Turkey today.

I still don’t understand why the club don’t have a dedicated social media account for the academy. Tweeting it off main is not the updates I want.

He is an absolute beast size wise for his age. One to watch.

On a more serious note, I'd call the box office to check the procedure for PL U18 tickets. A quick Google search shows QF tickets for the U18 FA Cup are available through the official team website – but not for any league games. I'd say that suggests a person might need approval to attend through something like being a scout, agent or similar, and the matches just not having tickets on general sale. Either that, or it’ll either be overly complicated (booking through the box office etc), or something as simple as showing up on the day and buying a ticket at the door.

Not really sure why I, a foreigner, decided to attempt answering this question when this forum undoubtedly has a ton of local posters with genuine knowledge about how to attend a Academy matches... Ah well, at least I tried being helpful

Michael Mills scored again for the Under 18s. Only just turned 16 this month and has 5 in 12 from midfield. Real talent who could be pushing for first team by the end of next season.
