He's scoring for fun at that level and clearly deserves a shot. If you think of how Raw Ranger is, Phil Airey is way way below that. He's a good young lad, but when you watch him play up front and get into the area, you always get the impression he never expects the ball to get to him. And i think i read somewhere that he can play both left wing and a offensiv midfielder role, so i was suprised that ha was out of the squad. But maybe he's just injured or something... binnsy Posted October 19, 2010 Share Posted October 19, 2010 he could possibly be injured, i think they could just be letting him settle in and seeing what he looks like in training, if he can play down the right then he may get in the team in upcoming games as we are a bit short of right sided players but have plenty who can play down the left.
