By the way, did the official site just give up when they equalised?

Not the first time too they seem to have just stopped posting updates half way through.

Same for me as well. Remember they did it at the last reserve game as well  :huff:

Did Kadar play? It's looking more likely that he's going to be let go at the end of the season like.......

Was Captain for the full 90 minutes.

Thanks for that info. Would like to see him be given a chance with the first team like but alas it looks like it's not going to happen.....

Have to agree with Ryder's comments about Vuckic, even from just the highlights, you can tell he's a cut above.  He actually looked quick at that level, his footwork, vision, passing and shooting was all first rate.  In 5 minutes of highlights he was pretty much involved in everything good we did.

Him and Sammy looked lively, really promising to see.  I just wonder whether he will ever be able to play in a flat midfield 4?  Looked a bit leggy to play that role against WBA, but he clearly has the talent and ability to play in the first team.

Can imagine there's a few youngsters hoping to go out on loan during the window in a step to gain a new contract.

Phil Airey

Sammy Adjei

Joan Edmundsson

Brad Inman

Two nil. Dennis knight

26mins - NEWCASTLE GOAL (2-0): If Hatem Ben Arfa's goal against Blackburn earlier this month was one of the finest goals ever seen at the Sports Direct Arena, Dennis Knight's tonight can't be too far behind. The midfielder, playing in a more advanced role than usual, was in his own half when he received the ball but ran and ran and ran, with the Watford players seemingly afraid to challenge him, before striking underneath the body of the diving Bonham. The visiting defenders didn't do enough to stop him there, but it was wonderful, direct play from the ex-Walbottle Campus Technology College pupil and United lead 2-0.

very good first half performance, played some lovely stuff and scored 2 excellent goals but were poor in the 2nd half.  Good win though and now home to QPR in the next round.  Thought Knight was excellent and Streete and Miele were the the other stand out performers.  Campbell didn't have the best of nights though.
