That’s the thing, I thought Northern Ireland have looked decent and have a lot of young players, just need them to grow together and maybe find a diamond somewhere. Scotland are a shadow of what they used to be, but still perfectly fine. Ireland look pretty concerning.

 

Arsenal just spent a lot on that young winger (?). Mason Melia looks very promising.

Arsenal bought some kid from Shamrock Rovers for 2m. Melia looks a good prospect having watched him play for Pats away at Shels recently. 
 

The thing about these young lads is that they will play at Arsenal and Spurs academies and just get lost in the dearth of talent that already exists there. 
 

Just look at Dipo Odubeko, was highly thought of 3 years ago. He was banging them in at West Ham youth level and he ended up on loan at lower leagues and just could not hack it. Now, 23, he plays for my local team Shels and looks like he won a competition to play football. It’s depressing.

Ireland are fucked and it's because the FAI have ruined the national team to the point that we're giving the managers job to dentists instead of established managers with a good CV managing decent professional football clubs.
