Teasy
1 point does nothing for us only 1 positive from this match: carroll FT How does it do nothing for us? Before today we were 3 points off safety, we're now 2 points off, so we've narrowed the gap. This match may also have been a bit of a turning point. We were 1:0 down away against a very formidable home side and we came back instead of crumbling.

Robster
1 point does nothing for us only 1 positive from this match: carroll FT I didnt see the game but by the sounds of it, not getting beat despite playing monumentally shite is something of a positive too
Kimbo
Point is better than nothing, this point could be crucial come the end of the season. It might be the difference between 18th and 19th.
KaKa
Andy Carroll is everything Ameobi isn't and the coaching staff have to ask themselves why the fuck he didn't start this game. They also have to ask themselves why Jonas is left on the bench. You can talk about his lack of goals and assists all you want but we are turbo shit without hhim okay? Simple as that. It might be the difference between 18th and 19th. So might the difference between a draw and a loss. EDIT: Scratch that, just realised thats the point you were making too. chicago_shearer
Better this than totally dead and buried.
Carlito
Well we're very lucky to still be alive after that bucket of shit served out. 2 points off the filth now and 2 winnable home fixtures, we can do it...if we leave Butt at another club's door in a basket or something. S.S.R.
Butt and Ameobi start, Jonas and Carroll on the bench. Lucky to have scraped something out of that after Shearer got it completely wrong.

Guest gggg
Carrol can win headers, score, show passion, move, concentrate, mark a man. none of which "3 year contract" Shola or "110k a week" Owen can do.

tmonkey
Good: Bassong, Edgar, Beye, Jonas, Carroll, Guthrie for 15 minutes before his lack fo match fitness kicked in. Fucking awful: Butt, Ameobi.
KaKa
I dont care how long he was on. MOTM Andy Carroll. Agree completely. Scored and defended set poeces tremendously well. Ameobi is a disgrace to human beings.
Jayson
Hopefully carroll will get the credit he deserves now. 5 games played this season, 3 goals & one pen won. Thats a brilliant record.
Novocastrian
Clutching at straws, but this may be a turning point. Surely we can't play this poorly again. Shearer will learned a lot about which players are up for the fight. Shame Ashley dithered for so long as we are now running out of time. Stating the obvious I know.
