Would you prefer winning the UEFA Cup but being relegated?

it'd be a more interesting hypothetical question if you could guarantee winning the uefa, then getting relegated, but promotion straight back up.

would spending one season outside the prem be worth a trophy?

Have you forgotten what it was like before Newcastle got promoted to the premiership?  Spurs were relegated for just one season and no trophy could ever make up for having to go to places like Oldham or Bradford.

Relegation is not an option.

I couldn't give a sh!t about some nomarks singing "you've never won f*ck all" as long as the nomarks are there supporting Man U, Arsenal, Chelsea or Liverpool!

Imagine some Colchester or Southend supporters rubbing it in at St. James' if we got relegated.

We won't get relegated. We always have a part of the season where we talk about relegation and it never happens. Either Roeder will spark a revival or he will get sacked next sunday morning after we have been beaten against Man City away for the second year running.

na lads, think you've got to concentrate on climbing the league, relegation could be something you'd take a long long time to recover from.

17th with no cup. weve won nothing for 50 odd years, whats another year gonna mean?

Agreed.

Although the hypothetical emergence of a new breed from our youth academy could be a positive if we did go down, what with all the shitty high rollers fucking off...needlessly abusive...
