Guest Roger Kint
Leicester City, Derby County, Nottingham Forest, QPR, Cardiff City, Reading, Ipswich Town, Sheffield United, Middlesbrough and West Bromwich Albion are all rated less likely to be relegated this year than us by the bookies. how many are rated higher by the bookies to go up ? Bearing in mind the odd are based on how much is placed on the outcome. If people lump on us to go down while other lump on going up its going to distort the market. Guest Stephen927
Other clubs that are for sale have not put everything on hold until they are sold. He needs to run the club properly and get some experienced football people in to run it and appoint a manager rather than another temporary manager. The club will be better for it and he may then be able to sell it. He has already openly tried to sell the club twice and each time, the club has been in limbo and badly damaged because of it. I don't think he'd appoint a long term manager while the club is up for sale because of the situation when he bought it. Shepherd had already brought in Allardyce when clearly Ashley didn't want him at the club and it cost a fair bit to get him and his backroom staff off the wage bill. We'll be stuck with short term managers like Kinnear and Hughton until he either sells the club or takes it off the market.

The wage bill putting off buyers? Not the £40m overdraft and £100m debt to Fat Ash then? what a cunt. the simple fact is that no championship club is worth £100m, nevermind £240m. Bad Mongo
I know every body was excpecting everything and I was one of Thomos protector but the reality is. We are not gonna be sold before the weekend. We are about to sell 3 players and buy only two. Based on who's recommendation only God Knows. Thats what Keith is thinking and it seems they are on top of this but unfortunatily for us and our beloved Newcastle there is no quick fix for this. What makes you think we'll buy two players? And who would come to this club?

Yup, he had the chance to protect his investment in January when we could of bought a few players. Sold the club with its prem status intact and clawed more money back from his original investment. But Mr Stupid head decided to go the other way. No one in their right mind will pick up a champ side for 240 million. No chance.

We're not back in the championship. we've never been in the Championship before That's true Mind, I still call it (what it actually IS) the "Second Division", anyway. All these stupid names ('Championship' for gawds sake . . . championship of what? - of nothingness, thats what). Its a bit like the League Cup (changes its name weekly). It is THE SECOND DIVISION - end of . . . and we are stuck in it (right in it!).
