Richo
If he takes it off the market, will Seymour Pierce ever deal with Ashley again?
James
Look, the two major announcements during the season by Mike Ashley have both been made at the weekend. If Ashley wants to take the club off the market, he will have already done so. Either there isn't an announcement at all, or we are waiting to get a contract signed. Two possibilities are that its the club that will be sold, or it will be some sort of announcement that Ashley is going to have to pay for transfers, accompanied perhaps by Sol Campbell or someone like that. Skirge
Lambias said transfer deadline day does not mean end of sale for the club, so what the fuck are they going to tell us tomorrow?
Sa1tY
If he takes it off the market, will Seymour Pierce ever deal with Ashley again? Why not as long as they make money wake up people the club will not be sold foe at least two years.

If Ashley wants to take the club off the market, he will have already done so. Im thinking this as well. Why would he wait a few days to tell us he is staying? If it is about the sale of the club, then surely the wait would indicate a sale more than anything?

Newcastle Fan
Things has been looking pretty good latley so naturally its time for them to get fucked up, expecting Ashley to stay and more shit on the way in the next few weeks.
James
Yeah James, your logic is impeccable. It is as equally impeccable as yours. You are clutching at straws, I'm clutching at straws. as far as I can see, people are jumping on this 'we are not being sold' bandwagon for no apparent reason, so I'm just trying to offer a different perspective. It is like the administration on Friday story from a few weeks ago, although more people seem to have got into this one.

What my previous comment that Ashley may wait until playing Palace away for our 4th game of the season to judge how things may pan out on the pitch Vs. your, he only makes announcements at weekends? Shut up man.

cubaricho
I think people are getting ahead of themselves here a bit. It's only "expected" for the club to make a statement, not confirmed. Don't hold your breath.

Shut up man. Where did I say he only makes announcements at weekends? The point was that he is an impulsive guy, I can't see him going around telling club sources that there will be an announcement on Monday that he is staying. He will just come out and say what he wants to say when he makes his mind up, be it Saturday, Sunday or Monday.

If something was agreed, he'd say. If it wasn't, he wouldn't know for sure it'd be sorted by the Monday.

Cronky
There's a logic behind making the decision one way or the other tomorrow. With only a week to go till the end of the transfer window, it's the last chance for either the old or new regime to bring anyone in. Assuming of course that will be any incomers. Put a cork in it, son.
