Village Idiot
At least they are moving in the opposite direction of crowning you champs 4 weeks before the start. Might do good for a change. Still, every time I feel bad about my country, I only need to take a look at The Sun.
Guest Craig-NUFC
Hodgson was in the running for the German job in 1998 apparently. It really wouldn't surprise me if English players had no idea who Lowe is. Actually wouldn't surprise me if our players knew nothing of football outside of England. Guest Craig-NUFC
Pearce replaced by Ray Lewington who joins on a short term basis.
NEEJ
Pearce removed from senior team set up. Hopefully he'll be given the boot completely after the Olympics. Still can't get over him saying in that presser last year for the under-21s he was basically championing the long ball. Would love to see the actual quotes again, it was terrifying that he's held his position as long as he has.
Guest Craig-NUFC
Still U21 manager unfortunately. Has nothing to do with the first team now though.

TaylorJ_01
So, squad announced this time next week. Who would you take?
TaylorJ_01
Joe Hart Ashley Cole Gary Cahill Joleon Lescott Micah Richards Scott Parker Steven Gerrard a training cone Ashley Young Wayne Rooney Adam Johnson We're getting smashed. If we can get Scholes then he can go in for the training cone, if the training cone is unavailable then Gareth Barry.
WarrenBartonCentrePartin
You're 1-0 up vs. Spain after a shit corner hits Joleon Lescott's head and loops in at a bizarre angle. It's approaching the 75 minute mark and you're under the cosh, you need someone to hold the ball during the few moments you've got possession... Shola. captainhaircut
Imagine if Gerrard was in the squad. He's played 120 minutes of good football all season. My mate was telling me he was listening to an interview with McClaren who said Gerrard is a nightmare for England managers. He effectively said that you have to play him because of the media but if things didn't go well in the first ten minutes of a game, Gerrard would go wandering about and go completely against the tactical plan. AlanSkÃrare
Don't think your first eleven is much better than ours atm. Our defence is shite, but we're always solid anyway due to the work ethic of our players. Especially with Rooney suspended it's hard to pick a winner. This is how I reckon we'll start; Andreas Isaksson Mikael Lustig Andreas Granqvist Olof Mellberg Martin Olsson Kim Källström Anders Svensson Rasmus Elm Johan Elmander Sebastian Larsson Zlatan Ibrahimovic France will of course walk the group. Tiresias
Under Roy we can expect a 4-4-2 but with a defensive midfield 2 and inside out wingers who will cut inside. Adam Johnson and Ashley Young on the Wings would be a reasonable shout imo. Barry has won me over at City, hated him for a while but found a decent passing range and solidity imo. Slight adaptation to 4-4-1-1 Hart Richards Cahill Lescott Baines Johnson Barry Cleverley* Young Oxlaide-Chaimberlin Holt *no idea who here. Lamps probably ffs. No fan of Parker tbh. God, imagine the marketing potential. Man sitting at a desk at work, watching the clock, the clockhand lands on a small picture of a happy Shola. The man rips off his clothes to reveal Hawaiian clothes and starts dancing on the beach, Shola flipping burgers in the background and winking loads. MW
I really don't expect uncapped Holt to be in the squad. I really hope Zamora isn't but I think he will be

Tiresias
He's had a bad season imo bar a few standout performances in champs league but not convinced. Yeah equally described as a 4-2-3-1 really
