Decky
Not sure what is more laughable, that or the fact that Brazil are 13th!
Guest Shaun
How has that happened? Uruguay, who were previously third, having points deducted due to their Copa America triumph last year losing importance. I don't get it either.

Kanj
3rd. FIFA rankings are turbo s*** Must be that James Milner and Scottie Parker who really turned it up for England over the likes of Hulk and Neymar.
ponsaelius
Teams that are hosting tournaments plummit down the rankings through not playing competitive matches in qualifying. Daft.
BrettNUFC
Honestly think FIFA have been parting with Ben Arfa over the summer if he thinks we are going to be challenging for the title and FIFA think there are only two better teams in the world than us. Off there faces on class A.

Jack Flash
Again, our players are ignored and other players who have barely played are selected. Goalkeepers: Joe Hart (Manchester City), Jack Butland (Birmingham City), John Ruddy (Norwich City). Defenders: Leighton Baines (Everton), Ryan Bertrand (Chelsea), Gary Cahill (Chelsea), Steven Caulker (Tottenham Hotspur), Phil Jagielka (Everton), Kyle Walker (Tottenham Hotspur). Midfielders: Michael Carrick (Manchester United), Tom Cleverley (Manchester United), Frank Lampard (Chelsea), Adam Johnson (Manchester City), Jake Livermore (Tottenham Hotspur), James Milner (Manchester City), Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain (Arsenal), Jack Rodwell (Everton), Ashley Young (Manchester United). Forwards: Andy Carroll (Liverpool), Jermain Defoe (Tottenham Hotspur), Daniel Sturridge (Chelsea), Theo Walcott (Arsenal).

Jack Flash
Which of our players have been 'ignored'? Simpson and S.Taylor mainly. Williamson and R.Taylor could have also got a call up based on our position and defensive record last year. Being young and from a London team supersedes all though. Having ability and potential supersedes tbh, Steven Taylor may have been in with a shout had he stayed fit last season but he is never going to get a call up on the back of a few minutes in pre season . The others you mentioned are simply not good enough.

Slight outside chance of perch being considered, but that's all we can offer off the back of last season.

Williamson and R.Taylor could have also got a call up based on our position and defensive record last year. Being young and from a London team supersedes all though. Why would you get called up based on league position? Simpson is woeful and Saylor's been injured for the last 9 months. There are some daft inclusions in that squad, granted, but including the above four would be even worse. I'm a big Saylor fan by the way, it's just too early for him. Jack Flash
I'm not saying they SHOULD be called up, just that they (Simpson and Taylor) realistically could have been if there was no bias. Our defensive record last year alone should see Simpson get a call up ahead of Ryan Bertrand who is 23 and has played about 5 times in the Premiership. Jack Flash
Why would you get called up based on league position? Because our fantastic defensive record was a big reason why we finished 5th and we often had 2 or more English players in the back 4.
