Guest Stephen927
Probably find listing a starting 11 or 12 completely pointless as this point.

Crumpy Gunt
Boro v Sheff U been moved to the Friday night (8pm) for SKY. That leaves BBC with the option of picking up our game. Hopefully it'll be a 5pm KO

Kaizero
Have to admit it's a bit strange none of them want to show the first match after our "demise" tbh. BBC will probably take it.

leazes.ender
Seems strange that Sky have dropped their published 12:30 Saturday slot to move a game to a Friday night unless on Smoggy police advice !!! Even more nailed on that BBC will show is now i think as there isn't much left. Cardiff's first game at their new ground or Leicester's return to the 2nd tier? Doubt it. EDIT - Sheffield United's website say that further fixture changes are due to be announced later this afternoon. http://www.sufc.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10418~1705570,00.html

Allocation should be 3,000, we only took 1,500 last season though but I'd expect us to take the full 3,000 since it's first game of the season. If they charge £40 again am buying a kids ticket, not a chance am paying that much for Championship football.

Guest Sm1d
If we're not on TV on the opening weekend then this must mean we're earmarked to be on the following week at home to Reading.

leazes.ender
We def are on BBC 5.30 V West Brom and Ipswich away, the full BBC game listings are out tomorrow. BBC games were supposed to be Sunday afternoons to avoid clashing with Sky tea-time Championship games. However on the first weekend there is no Premiership game in the Setanta slot and no Sky Championship game.

Guest toonlass
United's first fixture alterations for live TV have been confirmed, with our opening day game against West Bromwich Albion transmitted live on BBC1. We'll now travel to the Hawthorns face the Baggies -and their newly-installed manager Roberto Di Matteo - in a 5.30pm KO on Saturday 8th Aug. Meanwhile, the visit of Roy Keane's Ipswich Town side to SJP has been claimed by the BBC (channel tbc). That's now a 5.30pm KO on Sat 26th Sept. In between those games, we're due to visit Bloomfield Road, with the official Blackpool website reporting that this has been put back by 24 hours to a 7.45pm KO on Wed 16th Sept. The reason for the switch was initially given by Blackpool Secretary Matt Williams: "Newcastle are due to play Cardiff on the Saturday before our game, however, Sky have now selected that game for their Sunday lunchtime spot and as a result under Football League regulations our game has to be moved to the Wednesday." However, this was later removed from their website. From .com Bloody telly
Guest Roger Kint
BBC will have the games on BBC2, BBC3 or even BBC4 as they wont want to use up prime time Saturday evening TV on football
