ElDiablo
Er, so why the fuck isn't this match on? Cos Ranger didn't start so they didn't think it was worth it. [/adam^]

Pilko
I've got the Ukraine Switzerland game on, and both sides are shocking. The only real difference is the Swiss can pass, but can't finish and have some crap midfielder/attacker with a weird African name. Hah, funny that. The Ukraine/Switzerland game at the world cup a few years ago was one of the shittest I've ever witnessed, was 0-0 for the whole game and went through extra time to pens, and even the pens were shite. Up there with the France/Romania game from Euro 2008 and the Man U/Chelsea (0-1 Drogba) cup final a few years ago.
Guest Heneage
Ukraine won 1-0 with a goal in the last 5 minutes, even that was poor.
leffe186
Bumped for Dave's sanity. Anyone know the details of the French red cards?
TêteDeMaure
Boudebouz was sent off for dissent. Corchia was shown a second yellow card for a bad tackle on Ranger. LE FIGARO reckons it was harsh, some ''anglo saxon bullshit added in''. El Kaoutari second yellow, doesnt mention.

Fenham Mag
http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2009/aug/01/under-19-bobby-robson Under-19s vow to win European Championships 'for Bobby' The England Under-19 captain Jason Steele hopes victory in tomorrow night's European Championships final will provide a fitting tribute to former England manager Sir Bobby Robson. England's youngsters are on the brink of a first continental Under-19 title after their 3–1 win against France in the semi-finals, with hosts Ukraine all that stand between them and silverware. The Middlesbrough goalkeeper Steele believes a win would be the ideal way to honour Sir Bobby's memory. "He's a legend," Steele said. "If we can win the tournament, it will be a great tribute to him and will be great for the country. "Ukraine will have a full stadium and will be playing in front of passionate supporters. But all we have to do is play our game and hopefully it will pan out for us. We've obviously got to be confident – we're growing and getting stronger." Come on England
