Guest hameed
http://www.blogonthetyne.co.uk/2009/08/barton-left-out-of-toon-side-f.html Barton left out of Toon side for West Brom clash By Lee Ryder on Aug 8, 09 04:17 PM JOEY Barton is not expected to play against West Brom today after walking out of the club's training ground on the eve of United's first game of the season. The Scouse midfielder - who is no stranger to controversy - is understood to have had a disagreement with Fabricio Coloccini and Jonas Gutierrez before storming off the training field. It means that Chris Hughton had to make changes to the side for the West Brom game. The incident further fuels talk that all is not well in the dressing room at Newcastle going into the marathon 46 game season. Hughton is expected to start with Andy Carroll and Shola Ameobi in attack with Kevin Nolan dropping back into midfield after expecting to start in the hole. Mistle17
Maybe its a blessing in disguise if Barton isn't playing. I mean, we have more of a chance with Carroll and Shola upfront than just Carroll or Shola with Nolan 'playing' 'in behind'.

Guest timmy boy
What a fuckin prick Barton is. He owes the club a good season, so far he has either been injured, in jail or suspended. He has the chance to play a pivotal role today and once again he fucks it up like he has throughout all his professional career. How many more chances are we going to give him? He is an absolute waste of time.
Guest timmy boy
Why isn't Barton playing? Apparently he's had a strop at the Argies.
