leffe186
Why on earth did we (Spurs) sell Malbranque? I know Modric came in, but Malbranque has been class for years.
Village Idiot
Still no official lineups, but it seems that Villa may start afterall tonight despite picking up a knock midweek. I'm off to watch it with some friends, it should be a cracking game and a pretty important one for the short term future of La Liga (Real Madrid is going to put several past Valladolid, so if we lose they go 3 clear and we still have to go to the Bernabéu). EDIT: And just as I type that, they announce that Villa is definitely out. Was wondering, when was the last time Barca and Real kicked off at the same time? El Clásico Never happens unless it's in the last week or weeks and the title can be sewn up by one of them if the other drops points. They are the two most watched clubs by a country mile and they want to maximize pay-per-view revenue. And with that, I'm off to the pub!

Guest iliketoonarmy
A random oldie in old folks home can shoot better than Roque Santa Cruz, seriously. I'm happy to see that face of Bruce after being equalised at the last minute.

1878
Why on earth did we (Spurs) sell Malbranque? I know Modric came in, but Malbranque has been class for years. That was the first decent game I've seen him have for ages
Guest kingdawson
Steve Bruce is solely responsible for that draw. City bombarded them the second half, and the guy takes off Steed Malbranque (who was their best player) for Zenden .....then takes off Campbell who played well and was tracking back excellently for Bardsley (who couldn't even be bothered to close down Johnson for the goal) . Zenden should have come on for Richardson who was giving the ball away at every opportunity. Then go 5 in midfield with Fraizer playing rm.. Fraizer ----Henderson------Meyler--------Zenden-----------Steed ------------------------------Bent-------------------------------------- They probably would have got another on the counter but potato head Bruce fucked everything up . ponsaelius
Johnson > Downing Without a shadow of a doubt. Downing is such a limited player, he's a decent crosser of the ball but he doesn't really have anything else to his game. His best attribute is his left-footedness, and the fact that there are very few left footed wingers around. Johnson on the other hand is also left footed but can play on either side due to his dribbling ability and general better versatility, not to mention the fact he's quicker and infinitely more skillful. Just an all round more talented player tbh, which yeah could have been summed up with the simple '>'.
Pilko
That Meyler is such a limited footballer.

ponsaelius
That Meyler is such a limited footballer. Just another one of Keane's Irish buys that would never be good enough for the Premier League. There's a reason he cost £160,000.
