Aphrodite
If it was a pen it had to be a red card. Not sure it was a pen though. How does that work exactly? Denied a goalscoring opportunity... By that logic every pen is also a sending off.. Not really. Fabregas had only the keeper to beat. Usually penalty situations are on the edge of the box or amongst a crowd of players. Guest Stephen927
Did Arsenal only start letting fans in after they equalized? On another note who will play CB next week? Milito and.. How many fans are in full voice after conceding two away goals in a short period of time?
Unbelievable
Clichy's foul on Messi in the first half was just as much a pen as this...
Disco
Some of Arsenal's passing has been really shite, tbh. Weighted almost every ball wrong. Not like them, really. Diaby in particular.

Mr. Snrub
A fair result would have been about 1-8. Arsenal getting the kind of luck you'd expect from Liverpool.
Foluwashola
Barca will destroy them at the Nou Camp Barcelona will still be way stronger even without Pique and Puyol. Arsenal losing Fabby is the far greater loss.

johnnypd
messi had one of his worst games in ages. invisible. bit of a scrappy game overall, though it opened up once walcott was on and both sides adopted counter attacking. can't see arsenal winning over there, but it should be a good game as both sides will want to score from the off. Arsenal losing Fabby is the far greater loss. Not sure about that, Denilson had a good game when he came on and I think Nasri might exploit the extra space he'll get if Walcott starts on the right. Whichever Bendtner turns up will decide Arsenal's fate.

KaKa
Embarrassing fitness from Barca. Once it hit 70 mins they were spent. Couldn't close down anymore and couldn't maintain their passing and movement.

By that logic every pen is also a sending off.. Having this same discussion with someone else right now. Denying a clear goal scoring opportunity red shouldn't matter in the box, as no one's going to intentional foul in the box like they would outside. Red cards on denying goal scoring opportunities should only be given if it's an intentional foul, not just a clumsy tackle.
