GuyP
Think he's due a goal after having a pretty fruitful preseason. Fancy him to knock one in either at Scunthorpe or against Fulham. I am thinking against Fulham, he wont play against Fulham surely? If Parker leaves and they replaced him with Barton, that is still a hell of a midfield for the championship; Taylor - Noble - Nolan - Barton though Noble needs to hang back if theyre to get the best out of Nolan... (i personally dont think there is a cat in hells chance of him going down a league, though it would be subversive of him to do so, so cant rule it out!) sugoinufc
really want him to stay....he will be very important again this season. hopefully we can get to an agreement over a new contract....2-3 years on decent wages!
AyeDubbleYoo
Nolan wants to fuck off telling Barton he should go to West Ham. What happened to not commenting about other clubs' players? Disgrace. For someone who loved it here and wanted to stay he sure loves telling players to join other clubs.
Guest sicko2ndbest
A deal for Parker would pay for Barton.
Geordie Ahmed
Appreciate the goals Nolan scored for us, especially the 4 against the scum BUT these are such shitty comments from I would be surprised if Barton dropped down a division, even if they offer him decent wedge. Hopefully he can have a good season and we offer him a 3 year contract
Cronky
I can't see England's self-styled best midfield player dropping down to the Championship. Even Joey's convuluted mind wouldn't be able to sell himself that one.
tmonkey
"Would Joey Barton come here? Well, I came here, so I can't see why Joey Barton would not come," said Nolan." The arrogance
AyeDubbleYoo
"I came here, because they offered me a fat long contract when I know my legs will be gone in 18 months. Joey is a mentalist, so he might come to this shithole too"
toon25
"Would Joey Barton come here? Well, I came here, so I can't see why Joey Barton would not come," said Nolan." The arrogance Defo a bit of Fat Sam delusion rubbing off on Nolan there.
Ryan_Taylor
"Would Joey Barton come here? Well, I came here, so I can't see why Joey Barton would not come," said Nolan." S.S.R.
Loving Joey 'I always knew I had a higher calling' Barton's cringeworthy tweets and his delusions of grandeur. "and the world will look up and cry save us, and I will whisper no, I've got training tomorrow. "
Colocho
People think because they pay tax an NI, the Gov should do everything for them, they have a point! I believe that ppl should help each other within their own communities and try to take this dependency on Gov, away or definitely ease it slightly, thus making them accountable to certain specific demands, instead of making them accountable for everything all the time. We need to help each other, to help them, help us ?? If that makes sense...........Instead of blaming, start thinking. "What can I/We do to help?" not "What r THEY doing about all this?" Yorkie
Good news. I'd have done the same. Contractual issues/stability at the club aside, he's one of our most important players and shouldn't be in the team against Scunthorpe.

Yorkie
Could still do with a full-stop and i'd question the necessity of the inverted commas, but aye that probably would have sufficed. We'll get you there, keep at it.
