Sure I read somewhere that said he wasn't going back and it was permanent. Not sure how that's going to work. Good player though so glad he won't play v us. Sure I read somewhere that said he wasn't going back and it was permanent. Not sure how that's going to work. Good player though so glad he won't play v us. Yeah glad he's out. At a guess Boro couldn't get a deal done in August and there was no point taking him on a 3 month loan at the start of September because of the 2 week international break. So they waited until the 15th to get the most of out of a 3 month loan, and he'll go back to being Preston's player until January 1st, then his permanent transfer to Boro will kick in. I doubt he'll play for Preston in those 15 days though.
Pilko
Unless Boro have agreed for him to just stay at theirs and train with them if a deal is already done?

Ashley17
Unless Boro have agreed for him to just stay at theirs and train with them if a deal is already done? Fair point, that would make sense but you know how picky some managers might be.
LooneyToonArmy
BBC Gossip column Newcastle will attempt to hijack West Brom's bid to sign Wigan midfielder Jason Koumas, who has been told he can leave the DW Stadium.
hakka
BBC Gossip column Newcastle will attempt to hijack West Brom's bid to sign Wigan midfielder Jason Koumas, who has been told he can leave the DW Stadium. I've always rated Koumas, but think he's had a lot of injuries over the years and could come here and get crocked easily. He's defo got a good pass and free kick on him, hope we land him til end of season.
nobby_solano
wouldn't be too bad to bring in like.
Spider Jerusalem
Aye - a decent player for this league. Even if he does come and possibly get crocked as Hakka thinks is probable, I'd rather have him here on the medical table than at West Brom uncrocked and potentially pulling the strings to overtake us. Dirty Chelsea / Man Ure / Man City tactics of getting players so your rivals can't have them I knoiw but......

Yorkie
Sign Koumas and that's us up tbh. However, putting him alongside Nolan rather than Guthrie every week would kinda negate the whole thing.
Disco
Be happy to get Koumas just to stop WBA getting him. Can play on either wing as well as through the middle, decent to have on the bench.

Lagerstedt
How much truth is it in this story though? I mean, it's from the Sun and what is their track record of getting things right?
