littlelunchbox
now you know why he shirks out of every single challenge, he knows he will get hurt. Think he's a lost cause, sadly.
Minhosa
Gosling also stretchered off apparently. That infamous squad depth will mean these two losses go completely unnoticed.

Well they probably will tbf most think Amalfitano and Abeid could have had more chances this season for a start.

Well they probably will tbf most think Amalfitano and Abeid could have had more chances this season for a start. Both of those two (Gosling and Vuc) have had more game time than the two suggested. Abeid won't kick a ball for the first team this season.
Guest BooBoo
I said that this was potentially a make or break season for Vuckic but that could be it for him now. If the squad had been bigger (as it should be) we could have sent the lad on a season's loan to see what he's got. Wasted opportunity.

We still have Tiote, Cabaye, Anita, Perch, Abeid, Amalfitano, Bigi (forgot him ) and Marveaux who can play in their positions.
Mole_Toonfan
Tbf midfield is the only area where we have any real depth in terms of numbers. As for Vuckic it's a real shame for him he seems a talented kid and by most accounts a really nice lad but if these injuries persist his career is going to be over before it starts. Kasper
The Slovenian schemer's screams were audible all around the hosts' eerily empty stadium and although he was able to return to Tyneside with his team-mates, albeit on crutches, it looks certain to sideline him for some time. Vuckic's young career has already been plagued by injuries and this one came with just six minutes left to play in what had been an eye-catching individual performance. Chase
Real shame for the lad, I'm hoping his injury luck is more like Gerrard than Keiran Dyer as when Gerrard was coming through the ranks he was constantly out injured and then it all seemed to go for him. Guest sicko2ndbest
Meh tbh Nice kid who'll never be good enough to make the grade. Technically gifted but overall too short in other depts

Toondave
Any details, did he just pull up or fall on himself or was it a freak accident that would have injured even the least injury prone players?
Mick
Same thing he bases his usual nonsense on probably. Some of our players aren't good enough for where we are trying to go but it seems that every player in every thread is shite and in reality, they're not. Vuckic is a good technical player, both he and the club needs to find his best position and how to get the best out of the talent he's clearly got.
