He went to the same school as me, was in my brother's year, my brother said he was a right fruit, probably one of those not interested in sport and stuff. As far as I'm aware they all met at uni up here but none of them are from Newcastle. You only have to listen to their songs to know that their accent is Smoggie not Geordie. He seemed up to speed with whatever was going on at the time. Unlike Blair, who's basically clueless. he was a BIG fan - he always had the results put on a bit of paper and passed to him immediately wherever he was as Even had a mascot IIRC He did say that our continued non success in spite of his prayers said sommat about his standing up top......................
