Shola. Cabaye. Enuf said.

howay sholas a geordie - such a wealth of emoticons here not sure which fits best for that statement.....

Cabaye was who I had in mine tbh when I was thinking about current players, I'd like to think he'll be here a long time and become part of the history

don't care where they come from tbh aslong as they care as much as taylor im happy. One of my biggest fears is being bought my a multibillionaire arab russian type and having players that could be playing for dagenham and fokn redbridge as far as theyre concerned - although I may change my tune if we're winning stuff left right and centre who knows

My point is that it doesn't matter where they are from. We have Shola, a local lad who can be vocal at times whining at players, referees yet he doesn't put his words into action. Then you see the contrast from Cabaye who has been a leader and a huge influence in the last few matches. Sissoko, Gouffran have been giving their best too even if they have barely smelled the Geordie air. As long as the foreign lads make an effort in integrating into the team, it doesn't really matter where they are Geordie or English.

The win moved Newcastle into 12th place, just three points from the top half of the table and a comfortable eight points clear of the drop zone.
