You could tell Roman didn't want to give him the job in the first place but he had no other option after last season's success. That's why he only gave him a short-term contract. Eaxctly, don't understand why anyone is even worrying about it. If he hadn't won the Champions League Abramovich wouldn't have been forced to appoint him at all. Changing managers regularly has worked for them, in terms of winning stuff fairly regularly since Abramovich took over. Saying he would rather change managers and win things, than stick with one man (used Wenger as an example) and win little/nothing.
