Jordan
Former Newcastle and Manchester City star Antoine Sibierski has decided to hang up his boots after over 17 years in the professional game. The 35-year-old was released by Wigan at the end of last season and despite receiving offers from a number of other clubs worldwide he has decided to quit playing. "It is the end for me," Sibierski told skysports.com. "I have chosen to stop, but I was prepared to do that. "I had offers from France, Belgium, Australia even in England but I decided to listen to my family. "I thought about moving to France seriously, but my wife and my kids have said no way back so I have listened to them. "I am physically ready to have at least two more seasons, but since last year in my head it was over for me. "I am looking forward to other things now, but I will still be in football Of Team Talk

Guest
Did a decent job, but that summer was the beginning of our demise into a bottom half club imo. Duff signed when not needed, Martins a panic buy after Owen's World Cup injury (we'd have no doubt went for a target man to replace Shearer had that not happened), Rossi on loan and then him. Pilko
I miss European nights on channel 5 with Colin Murray, Sibierski, Roeder and Pat Nevin. They were fucking awesome, in a nostalgic kind of way.
