David28
Only one answer and that's Luque for me tbh.
Ronaldo
Because the only way any player effects any game atall is through goals, solid argument It most certainly is with Michael '1 assist in his last 100 games' Owen.
Jayson
Ok only goals and assists
NG32
For the fee and the wages with pretty much zero return it has to be Luque. Even Owen scored some goals.
jdckelly
What did Owen cost us in total? £35m plus was it? by my estimates 40m plus without taking any bonuses into account

colinmk
Owen is streets ahead of the rest in this one.
Guest Alan Shearer 9
What kind of horrific cretin made this poll? Alan Shearer ffs. Oh, it was Yorkie. http://albums.mouseplanet.com/MPPromotional/gofigure.jpg

Jayson
Ok only goals and assists Sorry, forgot about his terrific leadership. The winning answers is: His movementt His movement created chances for others anyway. We've no idea how the games would have gone without him, probably not very well. tmonkey
Wonder if Owen would win in a "which former/current NUFC player do you hate the most" poll. For waste of money, toss up between Owen if considering fee + wages, or Boumsong if considering performances per pound played alone. Luque would be ahead of Boumsong, but at least he has the excuse of a bad injury being the start of his problems here.

We've played lots of games without him this season and they've gone well, very fucking well in fact. We've even won some.
Guest neesy111
Ok only goals and assists Sorry, forgot about his terrific leadership. remember if he hadn't of signed we would of had someone else decent though, who would of been fit much more and probably had a similar effect than he did owen is a con, he's never ever been loved by any set's of fan's, even liverpool fan's didn't warn to him to other scouser's thankfully it look's like fergy has realised as he hasn't got off the bench recently and didn't even start last night when you would of expected him to do

Apart from that irish bastard on the radio who had a go at Luque him costantly during that Celtic game (in which he scored twice).
Guest Alan Shearer 9
Luque is nowhere near being as hated as Owen, he didn't even bring out a brochure. He would really have to go some to out cunt Owen.

He said he only ever came to Newcastle for the money, that's quite bad. Or classless at least.

morla84
surely Guivarc'h and Hamilton should be on the list? Bassedas?
Frazzle
Des Hamilton would've been on peanuts. Guivarc'h would've been on canny wedge though, especially after -
S.S.R.
Ferguson was a great old-fashioned centre-forward. That goal against Man Utd. Didn't he flatten Stam beforehand, and the Dutchman wasn't the same for the rest of the game? No doubting his ability, just thought it wasn't wise to sign him at the time. Thespence
Toss up between Marcelino & Luque as I cant think of anything positive at all about either there stays. Go with Luque as he cost more.
Mick
Marcelino, he was injured for over two months with a broken finger amongst other injuries and only played about 20 games in 3 1/2 years. Bobby tried everything to get him to play and we had to buy out his contract in the end. I hated him with a passion.
