SiLvOR
We simply won't progress with a fullback who can't keep the ball on the deck for 5 seconds. Not saying we should get rid, because I very much doubt we can find a better replacement with this regime, but for me he is a huge weak link in what is otherwise a promising team. Very frustrating. Yorkie
A nothing player. Want to see Santon replace him and a left-back brought in.
Guest Heneage
His now trademark look up and hoof is getting tedious. A steady 'backup' but when we have such a ball player at left back it's useless having him here.
Guest Big Al
Not good enough. Development stopped a year ago. 100% right. If he goes in Jan, I won't be unhappy at all. Good Championship player. Sh*t for the PL. New improved contract - you don't deserve it here.
junkhead
Needs between 5 and 15 seconds to get the ball into his right foot and to sort his body balance, so that eventually he can attempt a cross.. From an attacking perspective he's hopeless.
Guest Big Al
No technique at all, needs 6-7 crosses a match to deliver just a single ball that is suitable to be attacked, a liability both offensively and defensively. Sorry, Danny, but you're just not good enough for a professional PL player.
ponsaelius
So bad on the ball it's almost excruciating. His technique in controlling the ball, dribbling and striking it on crosses is absolutely abysmal. Not acceptable for a fullback whatsoever.

Dave
He's alright IMO but obviously limited technically, which is massively amplified when there is ABSOLUTELY NO MOVEMENT WHATSOEVER in the rest of the team. Like tonight.
joeyt
Always wants to cross with his left foot
Wullie
He'd be a good centre half if he wasn't a short-arse. A very poor footballing full back unfortunately, no delivery whatsoever. Ryan Taylor should be playing there simply for that.
Weezertron
hooooooof, always to the opposition. Rinse and repeat. Maybe due to lack of options but still horrible.

Pretty much, I'm starting to question whether he's actually better than Perch, now that Perch has cut out the kamikaze tackles somewhat.
Ash
Ryan Taylor will always be a better option than Simpson, simply for the fact he can put a decent ball into the box. Simpson offers absolutely nothing and is a key component in holding the team back at the moment. When we finally sign another fullback and have Santon on the opposite side we'll improve so much, both offensively and defensively.

Remember he was playing left back at the time.

Coloccini could have dealt with that, except he simpered over towards Long and was burnt for pace. It wasn't Taylor's fault. Your golden boy Simpson was fucking garbage tonight, as usual.
