Ronaldo
Mike Ashley continues his ongoing pledge to prove himself more thick than the day before. As do incredibly gullible posters.
andydunc
Our London lawyers told us two weeks ago that Pardew was being lined up, to the extend that a draft contract was in place. I can only guess from that they they have prepared it. I refused to believe it but I am not sure all of a sudden... I would be very surprised if our lawyers were going around spouting the odds. If they were a top firm they wouldn't remain top for long if that's the way they approach business.
Dave
I'm not sure that even a clear rebuttal from the club would help matters, unfortunately. The media thrives on speculation and particularly the misreading of it.

Dave
Fed up with the media like. The most annoying thing is when they're acting like it's utter bollocks but at the same time continuing to give it shitloads of airtime. Sky and particularly SSN are guilty of this, trying to make out they're somehow not included with 'the media'.

As far as I know, everybody has been pleased with the job Hughton has done.

GM
I've heard the same from a mate at Hibs who claims he was there when Hughton was on the phone to Calderwood earlier on this morning. Apparently Chris was crying his eyes out and everything. Jesus! Any fucker can make up spurious shite that sounds vaguely credible, but at the end of the day, it's not worth paying any attention to...deal with it if and when it happens, ffs

I don't understand why, we're in 9th and have been playing pretty well, and got a good away win against a relegation rival in our last match. Fuck the press, there should be no pressure at the moment.

We won't be if we lose at the weekend, the results in the last three home games (bearing in mind the opposition) make winning at the weekend absolutely essential. This Sacking him now would be ridiculous, ok so our home form has been poor but I think generally we have made a decent enough start to the season considering the resources he's been given (+ the injury to Ben A)
Ryan_Taylor
Mental the thought of him even leaving tbh. Just pure media Newcastle hat, we've not sacked a manager in a year, so he must be on the edge, regardless of the fact that he got us promoted first time and were in good stead in the Prem.
