Jill
I bet this is going to be hilarious, obviously in a completely pathetic and embarrassing way.
maybe_next_year
I'm imagining 'subtle' will be during interviews with people, Steven Taylor walking through the shot in the background , grinning and holding a massive sports direct sign.

Ameritoon
Said they're going to be 'more subtle' with sales stuff. A step in the right direction at least. They've needed a complete social media/pr revamp for a while. I assume it's still being run by the same people so will probably still be a bit shit, but at least they're trying. Fugazi
Newcastle United's official Twitter account has been relaunched - to bring fans a much-improved service By Anthony Marshall - Newcastle United Managing Editor Newcastle United's official Twitter account has been relaunched - to bring supporters a much-improved service. Starting with a new, simpler name of @NUFC , the account will be used to make you feel as close to the Magpies as possible, both on and off the pitch. We have unrivalled access to all areas of the Club, from the first team, through to the under-21s and Academy, and not forgetting the work of our official charity, the Newcastle United Foundation. And it is only fair that we share that with you, in as much detail as possible. Behind the scenes videos and images, exclusive Twitter competitions and a personality are just some of the features that our revamped account will provide. Ran by Managing Editor Anthony Marshall, PR and Supporter Liaison Manager Lee Marshall and Digital Editor Dan King, we will aim to bring you in-depth, comprehensive coverage of your club that you will not find anywhere else. If you already follow us, there's no need to do anything; your support will automatically be transferred over to @NUFC . It's already better than the old one (not difficult, mind)

mattypnufc
The adverts for the shop were an automated thing I believe, or at least generated by the shop website. I think they've turned that off and decided to be more mindful of when they try and sell tat.
NUFC_Chris
Aye it's a big improvement. I wish they would carry this policy on in other areas, the facebook page etc. The website could do with an upgrade as well, ours is shite compared to most other PL clubs. joeyt
Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard says West Ham "tried everything" to unsettle his side before their win over the Hammers last Sunday. The Reds had to deal with a "hot dressing room, a dry pitch and the bus had to park a mile away" from the ground. David Gold @davidgold 43m Mr Gerrard nobody force your bus driver to park a mile away from the ground, it was his choice. If the heating is too warm, turn it down. dg
