Guest
Reminds me of the line (I think it was on here actually) where someone said something like, "Jonas plays like someone's pinched his square button".

S.S.R.
It just reeks of money to spend, nowhere to spend it. They've got the dough to spend, but no one wants to play for Steve Bruce.

Judging by the amount of players rejecting Pardew it appears he has something in common with Bruce.

I would like to see Sunderland try for a player of similar caliber....

S.S.R.
I wasn't having a dig, just stating the obvious. They've raked in nearly 40mill and Bruce is rooting around in the bargain bin. The owner has been through this before with Keane. He should be wise to it.
ponsaelius
It's funny because I was talking to a mackem about their targets the other day, he was saying it doesn't matter if they're not high class (Vaughan, DJ Campbell, Gibson etc) because they'll only be squad players. At this rate they're going to have a squad of players like that, both on the bench and in the first team. It's weird because Gyan is clearly a good player as is Sessegnon IMO, why don't they go for more like this. I guess if they got N'Zogbia that would be a quality signing. Guest Wearside
I'm increasingly thinking Wearside is an excellent WUM. Shame. Would be nice to see some debate. So a Newcastle fan posts saying players don't want to play for Bruce, which is complete rubbish and then I retaliate with the same response after and I'm a WUM? Like the old saying goes,if you can't take it,don't give it out.

ponsaelius
The fact he can string sentences together gets this guy too much respect. I know it's impressive for their kind but he's still a mackem at the end of the day.
