Really shit that us beating Blackpool would be doing them a massive fucking favour.  Cunts.

Already given them a dilemma, do they like Sunderland more than they hate Newcastle?

I can't believe that the vast majority want a Blackpool win! Well, actually it is RTG so I kind of can but still. Sums them up really.

DIY SOS on BBC1 tonight was about a family in Durham, Mackems.

The programme still made loads of Newcastle references - could just imagine RTG going mad over them.

Sorry.... didn't mean to offend - meant the family lived in/near Durham, but were Mackems.

Durham is built on the Wear. Or have I been whooshed?  ???

its built on the side of the wear.

not wear side.

So it's only 'Wearside' if it's near the mouth of the river? Like 'Merseyside'?

Explain 'Wearmouth' to me then. Where's that?

I thought that. The son was a massive Sunderland fan but the opening two shots of the programme were of The Angel of The North and The Tyne Bridge
