Why though? The average crowd is only about 4-5k down this year from last, do those people make the difference?

Not saying I disagree, just wondering if being down here for a year will change people's perspective a bit.

WILL

Winning

Scoring

Playing poorly and still expecting to nick it

Visiting different grounds

Lack of 'big egos' on the pitch, no diving and prima donna acting

Getting a decent ticket at SJP

WONT

The Football League Show

No replays on goals/s*** highlight packages

Utterly w*** standard of refereeing

The 'we won't let Newcastle come and destroy what we have so we'll try and upset them twice as hard' attitude from opposition players, fans and officials.

Opposition fans saying we aren't a big club anymore, then breaking their attendance record when we go to their place.

I think it'll make it worse tbh.

Alot still won't realise that the likes of Wigan, Stoke and Wolves will be favourites in most games and that defeat is not an 'upset'.

Going back to the Premiership, we're in a different state - we're a newly promoted side, not the established PL side we were a few years ago - I think many will find this hard to adapt to.

I'd agree with all of them.

Clem is so fucking annoying I'd love to punch him in the head until his eyes popped out.

I'll miss 'proper' football to be honest. This is a hard tackling league with attacking football being played. The thing I'll not miss about it though is the shit standard. I love the integration of most fans also - a lot of fans I've spoke to genuinely seem to appreciate and like our support and believe we are 'proper' fans. There's only the odd one or two who are bitter about us, compared to the Premiership where it's full of wankers who hate us because we have a significantly better support than them as well as stadium and more money.

I'll be glad to escape Steve Claridge and the feeling of being in a shite league. But I'll miss the success.

I can see Boro being like Coventry now. Don't think they'll be back for a while.

It's definitely an extremely difficult league to get out of if you miss the first train out.

That's why I'm even more delighted we've managed to secure promotion as soon as we have. Happy to see the back of the place.

wont miss: The FL Show, I'd also say being accused of being arrogent fans - but we'll get that next year as well. No doubt Sky will roll out the usual identikit fans for interview.
