The pink used to have the scores on from fulltime but the match reviews often had no relation to the matches because they were pre written and changed a little to reflect the matches. So for example if we played Arsenal and out played (never happend) it would still say Arsenal out played us. The lack of 3pm kick off's and an increase in traffic on the roads killed it off.

Linked with Souleymane Bamba who currently plays for Hibernian in the french press. 6ft 3in centre back who is a product of PSG's youth system.

Via Mark Douglas from the Journal:

Spoken to Hughton tonight

Bit of transfer stuff in tomorrow's paper

No interest in Andrei Cristea

Personally he reckons there is money available and we'll defo sign a striker before the season starts

Mackems will make a 'wow' signing :colo:

We had him on trial and were going to sign him for 50k this time two years ago. Instead we got Grzegorsz Rasiak on loan and couldn't afford him.

Danny Welbeck is the ''wow'' signing for the Job centre crew.

Macheda is overrated.

Both of them are. Both of them did well in a cameo appearance for one of the League's best sides, with the rest of the team making them look good. Both scored a 'wonder' goal (as proclaimed by Sky Sports Hype Machine Directors Andy Grey and Richard Keys) and are still living off that. No one cares they never showed up when they were given a full game. No one cares that Welbeck didn't exactly set the Championship alight in 8 games (I'm aware its only 8 games and he did score 2 goals).

However, you point this out and people go 'Yeah, but that goal against Sunderland.' 'They play for Man U...'

Welbeck looks nowt special. In fact, I'm surprised he's been given the chances that he has.

Macheda though is different. He looks like the complete package. He'd be a very good signing for someone that was prepared to give him a run of games.

Macheda is good, he just isn't Manchester United good. There are a few players on their books who should thank their lucky stars for the clubs financial position, Macheda moreso.
