Jayson
If Germany finish second, should England be sneaky enough to 'accidently' finish second too? Or are we gonna use honesty, integrity, fairness etc and go out to them on penalties in the next round. Germanys last game is a few hours after ours

Peder75
Hope England doesn't get that ref. Tackles Gerrard makes week in, week out in premier league would be a straight red.
Nobody
Shit scared. They have no reason to attack, which mean they'll get a bullshit goal. Man, that Altidore sure is incredible.
Guest Phil K
Thats it. Pro-German as I am (my brother in law is German) pleased at Serbia winning. Disgusted by the constant tripe from Pearce and McCarthy - you'd think this was the first time an unfair sending off had ever happened. Shearer was at least as bad. Serbia got as many dodgy decisions throughout the game. YES he shouldn't have been sent off. Hells bells - Shearer was saying Germany should have had a pen when Gomez and the Serbian kicked each others foot in the 90th min FFS !!!! As I said before, re:Klose - they're hardly innocent of being actively involved in playacting to get opposition sent off. Right. Now England have to do the business. MUST win, and at least 3-0 too
johnnypd
will the US - Slovenia match be worth watching or not? Deciding whether to get some food in for tonight, or starve and watch both matches...

Ketsbaia
Question: Which of the pre-tournament favourites has impressed you the most after the first round of games? Brazil - 7 (4.4%) Spain - 5 (3.1%) Germany - 102 (64.2%) England - 7 (4.4%) Argentina - 28 (17.6%) Holland - 4 (2.5%) Italy - 2 (1.3%) Other - 4 (2.5%) Total Voters: 159 What do we think of Germany now? That certainly wasn't as impressive as Sunday night.
