Zero
Since he arrived our defense looks a lot better than before. Yes there is still some mistakes but generally the defense is more reliable, even if we played Moore and Bramble. Finally we have a good backroom staff, a good news isn't it? skryp2nit3
Does seem to get our defence better organised. Individual mistakes are our main problem now and Carr needs to stay as far away from the first team as possible.
Newcastle Fan
agreed, but with two center backs running the team,no wonder we are having striking problems..
Guest theunis
yeah seems like he is making a diff slowly but surely look, but dont get to carried away lets see if we can keep defence tight for the next couple of weeks
Nobody
We said the same thing just after Roeder took over, tbh.
Skirge
You cna tell he has made a difference to our back four but only when we play four CB's, seems as thoughe ven he cannot make Carr or Baba play any better. Surley now though Roeder can see how much better we are without Carr at RB?
Sima
Arsenal should have scored at least 10 at the weekend. Had it not been for Given they would have. Don't see what difference Pearson has made.
Guest
It's probably just good to have an actual coach rather than prankster on the coaching staff.
jackyboy
Noticed a big difference with Bramble on Saturday, didn't do any of his shit or bust sliding tackles, but stayed on his feet keeping inside his man. In previous weeks he has lunged in, missed and been left for dead. Long may it continue

Don't see what difference Pearson has made. You say that, but Souness got absolutely hammered after a game with Fulham when we seriously could have scored 7-8 if it wasn't for Crossley. Works both ways surely.

Don't see what difference Pearson has made. You say that, but Souness got absolutely hammered after a game with Fulham when we seriously could have scored 7-8 if it wasn't for Crossley. Works both ways surely. Not really. The reason he got hammered was not because we didn't take our chances, but because he took off nearly all the defenders and fucked any chance we had of winning a game which we were well on course to (despite being 1 down). Also, your logic only works if we're discussing Chris Coleman getting praise for that defensive performance. I'm not really sure what your point is. Keeping Charlton and Sheff Utd under wraps is hardly great shakes and as Sima says, were it not for Given, Arsenal could have had a boatload, and Given's performance is hardly Pearson-inspired. Northern Monkey
Does seem to get our defence better organised. Individual mistakes are our main problem now and Carr needs to stay as far away from the first team as possible. Ditto Bramble and Babayaro. if he can get Moore to be like a competent, mediocre defender until we get a proper CB in, all the better.
Tisd09
Maybe a coach that coaches helps a bit rather than one that takes bets down the bookies and books Christmas parties. Thank goodness Pearson has come in now Terry Mac can get back doing what he was brought here for - FUNTIME

Actually, that was the highest tally for a keeper this week.

Zero
Given do makes some world class saves, but what I focus is that we didn't give Arsenal any easy chances to score. Given is forced to make those saves as Henry is simply a world class striker.

James
One for GeJon here: Will the presence of Pearson at the club: a) Increase the chance of us wanting Curtis davies and b) Increase the chance of Davies wanting to sign?
