Guest palnese
Rodgers would be mental to take the England job at this stage of his career, as it always ends in tears.
Guest
Does international football really have to be a full-time gig? I'm sure an England manager would be able to get a team of scouts, know what players are available and manage an international side at the same time. All he has to do is pick tactics and a team, most of Rodgers' players would be away on international duty at the same time anyway so wouldn't really hinder Liverpool would it? Ronaldo
It would present too many conflicts of interest.
Interpolic
I agree with Nut tbh, a young manager would be bored out of their mind doing that job. Keegan had 2 jobs on the go at one point, didn't he? What about other countries?
Tooj
Ronaldo 07-08 or Drogba 09-10. Suarez will probably eclipse both at this rate, though. I'd have Henry all day over Drogba's season. I'd actually have both those seasons from Henry. Scored from everything and created everything. As for Ronaldo, yeah it was his second last season for Man U that was amazing. Didn't he score like 30 goals? Henry never gave Arsenal what Drogba gave Chelsea that season. Henry took penalties too. I thought Lauren did?
Ronaldo
Henry was Arsenal's penalty taker for the majority of the time he was there.
Guest
It would present too many conflicts of interest. Aye, true. Like the World Cup for example. Would they single out Suarez as much knowing someone like Cahill could crock him from Liverpool duty the following league season.
Incognito
Henry was Arsenal's penalty taker for the majority of the time he was there. Unless he was fouled for the penalty or am I imagining that?

Guest n4e
What would Suarez be on if he was on pens this season? They've had a fair few this season haven't they?
Ronaldo
I think 34 or 35, providing he scored them.

The College Dropout
They are dispatching lower sides with unusual aplomb. I've always thought they would draw one of these lower sides or lose but at this rate it's going down to the ANfield games against the rivals. Well fucking done. Doesn't really matter, saying Henry wasn't for Arsenal what Drogba was for Chelsea is his usual biased bullshit tbh.
Taylor Swift
Henry was incredible because his assists number was ridiculous, too. I'd go Suarez > Henry > Drogba > Ronaldo if measured by their best seasons in the league - the league only, no other competitions.

I'd go Suarez > Henry > Drogba > Ronaldo if measured by their best seasons in the league - the league only, no other competitions. I'd probably give Ronaldo the edge over Drogba but agree. Just looking at Suarez stats, it's incredible. 27goals 21 assists. It's unbelievable.
Interpolic
Think Henry was my favourite non-NUFC PL player, such a class act.
Mole_Toonfan
Suarez has been amazing this season but still not as good as what Henry did in his pomp i'm not having that. Bloke used to get 20+ goals and 20+ assists without breaking so much as a sweat.

I'd go Suarez > Henry > Drogba > Ronaldo if measured by their best seasons in the league - the league only, no other competitions. Drogba had the most assists in the PL on at least one occasion. You can't really give Henry an edge in that sense because Drogba did so much for the players around him.
Andymc1
Drogba - 226 games, 100 goals & 55 assists Henry - 254 games, 174 goals & 80 assists Stats don't normally tell the whole story but I think they're conclusive on this occasion.
Ronaldo
We're talking about single seasons, though. Nobody is disputing that Henry was more consistent over a long period.
