Aye good attempt too. Really like the design. But IMO City Crest needs to be on.  Really like Nobby_Solano's design. Could you imagine if we could get the actual Brown Ale logo in it though? That would be fantastic, it could help get the initial funds up as well as a sort of sponsor...

i really like that 2nd design you put up, i've just altered it slightly, swapping the blue star to the other side of the chest, making it slightly smaller and bringing the city crest in

To be honest, I'd love our crest to just be our city crest, it looks really classy. That design above is great. I'd prefer the Bobby Robson part on the shoulder though, if possible.

rite people just a really quick one that ive knocked up taking into account suggestions from this thread.

 

i will make a few more designs once i have a few hours to sit down and spend a good amount of time to make it look really good.

 

it may be the weekend before i have a chance to do anything due to work and the likes.

Like the top version. Simple, classic, clean lines. Nice, but it would probably look better with black sleeves with a white trim, and possibly a black collar.

 

I would nudge the blue star so it was half on the black stripe and half on the white, and would try putting the SBR Logo below the blue star. Also think it might look better if the red lettering on the back was blue (like the blue star) – the red lettering looks good but using red and the blue ‘accents’ on the same shirt looks a bit disjointed imho.

I'm leaning towards that way of thinking, to be honest. I can't see how it will take off at all. I mean, how is it going to be marketed to the wider (non internet based) support? What is the driving idea behind the shirt? Is it just, 'we don't like the actual shirt'? Not trying to be a twat, I just don't really get why I'm supposed to want to buy it?

Same here. I just don't get the reasoning behind the idea. Okay, if you don't like the new shirt that's fair enough but I don't get why any fan produced shirt would be attractive alternative when there are a number of natty retro shirts easily available.

 

I also think we really need to draw a line under the Bobby Robson mourning. He was a great bloke and if any shirt is released I hope the proceeds go to the foundation but walking around with a bloody great big 'Robson 1' on the back? I think there's a point when we need to take a dignified step back and remember we're not scousers.
