Some of our defending was awful, only positive of the whole game was when Toivonen put his boot in van Bommels stomach. Huntelaar on his day has to be one of the best finishers in the world. Not sure I could name more than one now though. Arda Turan maybe. They haven't got many stand-out players but they've still got well more squad depth than the likes of Azerbaijan. Turkey have to be one of the strangest international football teams going like. 3rd at world cup 2002, within inches of reaching the final of Euro 2008. Neil Posted October 15, 2010 Share Posted October 15, 2010 Very mixed. He's really just played as the team has. Rocky start to last season, got better. Had a couple of poor performances this season. It depends a lot on how we want to use Heitinga. If we play Heitinga in DC alongside Jags, Distin doesn't get a look in. If we play Heitinga in defensive mid, how do we incorporate Arteta and Fellaini? I suppose it's a good choice to have, when all are fit. Haven't mentioned Rodwell who is injured as well.
