Guest tollemache
It's got to be a little bit harder when you don't have Cabaye right next to you
Tiotes Witch Doctor
Had a very good second half because he seemed to go back to basics, just breaking up the play and laying off a player who is more capable of getting forward, that's his role and if he sticks to it we should see an improvement. First half he inexplicably wanted to take on every City player and failed every time.
Tooj
It's got to be a little bit harder when you don't have Cabaye right next to you Yet he played his best football with Nolan next to him.
Dave
Just needs to do what he does best and stop trying to be creative. Seems so obvious doesn't it. Makes me wonder what the fuck he's being coached to do.
Guest
It's got to be a little bit harder when you don't have Cabaye right next to you Yet he played his best football with Nolan next to him. And Perch & Anita were both absolutely fine.
Beren
Thought he did very well today. Doesn't usually against Yaya, but thought he was good. Tough to turn around a critical audience though. Needs to put together a few good performances back-to-back though obviously.
Guest tollemache
Nolan's no chump at using the ball though...
Jordan
The worst i've ever seen him. Nearly cost us 6 times fucking around on the ball. Was so happy when he was subbed.
Incognito
Love the contrasts of football opinion. For me Tiote has no idea of his limitations and believes himself better than what he is . He was ok today but has been pitiful on the whole this season.
EthiGeordie
He needed to be sub and he needs to stay on the bench along with Cisse for the next game..
loki679
Just needs to do what he does best and stop trying to be creative. Seems so obvious doesn't it. Makes me wonder what the f*** he's being coached to do. That's what's puzzling me. Players don't suddenly change their style of play just like that. Also, thread title change to 'Cheik "STOP FUCKING SHOOTING" Tioté'
Guest firetotheworks
It's the 4 unnecessary Cruyff turns he does just outside the area, the daudling on the ball, turning into trouble and terrible passing that winds me up. He's been trying to be 2007 Michael Essien all season, when he should just be doing what Perch does, break it up and keep it simple.
Beren
Just realised Pardew probably hooked him because he thought the game was gone and he didn't want to risk a fifth booking/missing the eminently more winnable QPR game.
Guest ItalianMagpie
I'm really worried when he plays. And that's not good. I hope someone's coming in with some ridiculous offer in Jan so we can let him go before it's too late.
Al Moody
I agree he's put out a couple of shaky performances of recent, but thought today he looked a lot like his old self.
taxfree
He needed to be sub and he needs to stay on the bench along with Cisse for the next game.. The opposite, then.
madras
i'd be very tempted to start perch and anita in the middle next saturday.
Skirge
He never gives up though, he loses it he gives 100% to get it back, I feel for him now due to injuries he is being asked to change how he plays. Win it play it simple it what he is about but with no Cabaye alongside him he is trying his best, the putting him down is getting right on my tits. tmonkey
Just needs to do what he does best and stop trying to be creative. Seems so obvious doesn't it. Makes me wonder what the f*** he's being coached to do. That's what's puzzling me. Players don't suddenly change their style of play just like that. It's Pardew (imo). He has openly talked about wanting to see more from Tiote on the ball, especially after that Arsenal goal, so he has tried to change Tiote from a pure destroyer into an all-round central midfielder. Glenn Roeder did the exact same thing with Scott Parker. Basically managers trying to be too smart for their own good.

Ronaldo
Parker's far better with the ball at his feet, in fairness.
NEEJ
The thing with Tiote is that when he loses it, be fucking LOSES it. Puts us under so much pressure.
