Teasy
Didn't say we should, but if we do it won't be for that kind of fee. The club clearly know what a good player they have on their hands and it would take a massive offer to get him IMO.
oldtype
Getting good fees for players is pretty much the only thing I trust Mike Ashley to do properly tbh.
Guest sicko2ndbest
Anything over £10m will see him gone I suspect. Based on what? There's absolutely no way we're going to sell a player who's been as good as he has for that kind of fee. How much do you think we should sell him for? 20+
OoOGazOoO
Tiote's latest interview has stated that he wants to be challenging within the top 4 or 5 of the Premiership. That would need a lot of money spent on our squad to get anywhere near that level. So the question is, when will he start getting annoyed with the lack of money spent on the squad and go, much like Enrique seems to be.

I remember him saying that on SSN during his contract press conference. 'So we can challenge the top 5 next season', he said.
Mick
30 mil well spent added to what we have should be able to achieve a top 8 position We'll not spend £30 million, that would only leave £5 million for wages.

Around September if we haven't spent the money on quality additions to the squad.

Guest Geordiesned
He's now on 13 bookings and 15 in a season brings an automatic 3 game ban which would carry over to next season. So if he's booked on Saturday, Pardew should leave him out of the last 2 games IMO. We don't want to be starting next season without him.
sander68
I heard the commentator say he is one booking off a 3 game ban.
oldtype
should sit out the rest of the season then. complete no brainer.
Dave
It's two bookings. Play him Saturday, leave him out against Chelsea (we could do without him showing them what he can do anyway tbh ) then if he's okay for West Brom play him again.

Guest Geordiesned
Although why should we care if he misses Chelsea's first 3 matches of next season?
ChrisMcQuillan
should sit out the rest of the season then. complete no brainer. So miss three games, to protect him from missing three games? He's two bookings away, anyway.

He's two bookings away, anyway. He should play against Birmingham to try and get us the 3 points but after that there's no point. The last 2 games are meaningless but we'll be needing every point we can muster next season.

durhamunigeordie
If Chelsea beat Man U would be interesting to see Fergie's reaction if we suddenly left out Tiote for our visit to the Bridge! Although if I was one of the ones who has paid £50 for a ticket I would be wanting to see him play.
