oldtype
None in none out would really, honestly be an acceptable conclusion to this transfer window assuming that our goal for the season is to avoid relegation.
Kaizero
I'd take Carew on a 1 1/2 year contract tbh now he's deffo a goner at Villa. Probably no more than £1-2m as well.

Kaizero
Has scored 10+ per season (bar this) since he came to Villa. Don't see where he's a bad option on the cheap to use as a back-up for Carroll.
Ketsbaia
We already have a cheap back-up for Carroll. He rides bicycles.

oldtype
If we had the money I'd shell out about 10m for Agbonlahor.
AyeDubbleYoo
If we had the money I'd shell out about 10m for Agbonlahor. Definitely, very good player and would add tonnes of pace.

Houllier reckons he has lost a bit pace since Gabby bulked himself up.

OoOGazOoO
Agbonlahor has to be one of the most over-rated players in the Premier League.
Ronaldo
He's easily worth £10m.

Flip
Why don't we ever go for players directly from South America. Plenty of players there who are much better than what we got. Players like Jucilei in Corinthians who can play all over the midfield and right back position who is now a player of the national team. Kleber from Palmeiras although he's 27 is a strong striker maybe not what we need but just saying. I mean we need to send our scouts there and find players such as Solano and so on. I'd kill for someone like Conca here.

NEEJ
If we had £10m to spend, I'd be gutted if it went on Agbonlahor.
AyeDubbleYoo
FWIW, we obviously won't be buying anyone like Agbonlahor, doesn't fit our current transfer policy at all.
TRon
If Agbonlahor was any good they wouldn't be spending £18m on Bent. He's fast but not sure about his finishing. He's missed some sitters against us.
Dokko
Agbonlahor has problems with injury, loads of niggling injuries quite like Owen. Still in terms of a player he'd be just what we need here, second striker, fast, right footed and and run with the ball.
