Shane Ferguson joins Millwall on a permanent deal

Ferguson is far too limited for me. Have Ben Arfa mentor him teach him how to attack.

Though Shane can run straight forward and put a canny ball in.

A winger that can run and whip a ball in sounds like a bloody good foundation for a player to me, like. Needs to strengthen up a bit and work on his decision making but that's true of 9 out of 10 players his age.

Of all the young ones he's the one who looks most likely to make it in the PL, for me.

He's not going to do anything here. If he cared at all about his career he'd leave.

Reluctantly correct. He's fairly old for a "breakthrough player", another that has had his development woefully mismanaged.

Always thought he was the most likely of our youngsters to make it. It's a bit of a mystery to me why he hasn't been given more chances.

Rampant short-termism, PL dictates many clubs must suffer from it.

Defiantly got potential and I like his direct style. Great delivery on him too.

If he wants games then fair enough, would have liked to thought he'd get some here though.

I really rate him, he could do with a few Yorkshire puddings to beef him up but he has a faster and more accurate delivery than Cabaye in my opinion

Young players will never reach their potential here. They're kept around to fill several squad gaps instead if leaving on loan because the cunt at the top won't spend money on buying/retaining a decent sized playing staff.

Just generally better. One of Cabaye's poorest attributes.

I agree on this as what i have seen of him he is bloody quick and whips a good cross in ,if he got the same game time as Jonas than he would be a first team regular  O0

Could have played 20 games in the premier league for us, but no we played a crap out of form, non crossing but hard working player in Jonas. Bollocks.

Ferguson's just not going to play much, that seems a fact. So I guess it's good for us and him that he gets some games.

Absolutely right. A few crosses apart, he's not really done enough at Newcastle to warrant forcing his way into the first team. Another decent spell at Brum should give him valuable experience rather than the odd 10 minutes here and there he'd get here.
