Ronaldo
Ferguson is far too limited for me. Have Ben Arfa mentor him teach him how to attack. Though Shane can run straight forward and put a canny ball in. A winger that can run and whip a ball in sounds like a bloody good foundation for a player to me, like. Needs to strengthen up a bit and work on his decision making but that's true of 9 out of 10 players his age. Of all the young ones he's the one who looks most likely to make it in the PL, for me. Barnes23
http://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/wolves-wait-wings-newcastle-uniteds-4866512 Wouldn't want to see him sold at this point. One of the most likely out of our current crop of youngsters to make it in the PL.
Ronaldo
Better player than Jonas already. Would be ridiculous to even consider selling him.
sempuki
He can do better than League 1.
Guest reefatoon
He could do better than league 1 surely.
LRD
I rather he go to a Championship team on loan, then assess him as the season goes. At his age, a League 1 season isn't going to improve him.
Pilko
I would say he's better than a League 1 player IMO. Probably needs a loan to a top-end Championship team for the first half of this season.
matta
If we dont get an upgrade on Jonas, im all for keeping him as backup (winger). If we get something there, send on loan.
Jack Flash
He's not going to do anything here. If he cared at all about his career he'd leave.
Disco
He's not going to do anything here. If he cared at all about his career he'd leave. Reluctantly correct. He's fairly old for a "breakthrough player", another that has had his development woefully mismanaged.
AyeDubbleYoo
Always thought he was the most likely of our youngsters to make it. It's a bit of a mystery to me why he hasn't been given more chances.

Rampant short-termism, PL dictates many clubs must suffer from it.
Stuy_O
Defiantly got potential and I like his direct style. Great delivery on him too. If he wants games then fair enough, would have liked to thought he'd get some here though.
toontownman
I like Fergie, old style winger that gets stuck in more than most, like to see him out on loan again next year to start. Tbh at this rate we might need him.
Guest chopey
I really rate him, he could do with a few Yorkshire puddings to beef him up but he has a faster and more accurate delivery than Cabaye in my opinion
Ronaldo
Young players will never reach their potential here. They're kept around to fill several squad gaps instead if leaving on loan because the cunt at the top won't spend money on buying/retaining a decent sized playing staff. One of Cabaye's poorest attributes.

I agree on this as what i have seen of him he is bloody quick and whips a good cross in ,if he got the same game time as Jonas than he would be a first team regular
Guest bimpy474
So we keep Jonas and let Fergie go on loan, Righto good move Pardew you clever man.
Unbelievable
Happy with this providing we get a left winger in for the first team, of which I am not at all confident.
AyeDubbleYoo
Ferguson's just not going to play much, that seems a fact. So I guess it's good for us and him that he gets some games.
Guest bimpy474
Could have played 20 games in the premier league for us, but no we played a crap out of form, non crossing but hard working player in Jonas. Bollocks.
thenige
Ferguson's just not going to play much, that seems a fact. So I guess it's good for us and him that he gets some games. Absolutely right. A few crosses apart, he's not really done enough at Newcastle to warrant forcing his way into the first team. Another decent spell at Brum should give him valuable experience rather than the odd 10 minutes here and there he'd get here.
