Karjala
Sounds daft, but this imo is a must win game. We have to beat Blackburn at home to make up for Bpool, Stoke, Wigan. Certainly need 4 points from nxt 2 anyway.

wormy
I'd be surprised if he takes both CBs out of the team. Wouldn't blame him for taking one out, but both?
Stu
Certainly need 4 points from nxt 2 anyway. We don't need them but it'd certainly put us in a brilliant position if we got 4 from the next 2 matches, we remain unbeaten (to 5 league games) and our home form takes a sharp upturn after some unexpected defeats. Still think we revel in the underdog role too much.
ElDiablo
Krul Perch Campbell Colo Enrique Barton Guthrie Tiote Jonas Ranger Carroll 0-0 Perch? Doubt Simpson can manage this one as well as saturday against Fulham. R Taylor is shit and S Taylor isn't fit to start.

The pressure is now on us to perform and be the driving force in the game, big task to see if we can step up to the plate.
Nobody
Wouldn't make any sense at all to rest either of the CBs. Only players I would be comfortable with resting would be one of Nolan or Barton to give Routledge a chance and Ameobi for Ranger.

relámpago blanco
We should play our strongest team against both, we are still in a relegation battle irrespective of our current position.
Neil
The issue is, can your strongest team produce a high level of performance in both games after a no doubt tiring game today? I'd be shocked if they can, hence changes will be necessary.
AyeDubbleYoo
I wouldn't be against resting Nolan and one of the strikers, moving Barton inside and bringing Routledge and Ranger in.
Alberto2005
We should play our strongest team against both, we are still in a relegation battle irrespective of our current position. But we aren't are we? Regardless of whether we are newly promoted or not it doesn't automatically mean you're in a relegation battle. Everyone starts on zero points and if we're good enough to finish in the top half then we will.

We can change a couple, maybe Jonas, maybe bring in saylor for simpson. They will be ok to play vs bburn, if they are knackered after that then CH will change but we need to keep getting points on the board.

Changes will need to be made. Nothing to do with the ability of any of those dropped.

Neil
There's a difference between resting out of necessity and resting out of free choice. The same eleven won't be able to give a performance at a high level 3 times in 6 days. It just won't happen.

hakka
we've got a terrible record against both Blackburn and Fulham in recent years at SJP. Blackburn have won the last 4!! We must over turn this, in particular now with how we are doing and who we have playing. I just want to see that fat cunt Sam lose against us. If they win he will be all over it giving it the big one, the fat cunt.
nufc4eva
Just been looking on the statto site for points at this time of the season for relegated teams and no team with more than 16 points at this stage has been relegated in over ten years - Positive ? Strange this year because of the small gap between bottom and top but would set up to 6th at moment as potentials. Edited, burnley had 16 last year
