Paully
30 years ago today we beat Bolton to go 12 points clear with 15 matches remaining - it still massively hurts that season! Edited January 20 by Paully

I was working in Manchester then. The pain can never be forgotten, not can the gloating of the reds that I worked with.
Magpie
The game where it ALL changed. Absolute carnage in that away end at the final whistle.
HaydnNUFC
Most important goal in our recent history that. Think only the Kelly Portsmouth goal trumps it.

I can never refrain from commenting on it because I love the goal and the visuals of the celebrations so much, but in my opinion, no other goal will ever come close to Kelly's in terms of being the most important in our recent history. Not to take away from Shelvey's either of course as it is right up there.

1881
24/02 - 1995/96 - 3-3 draw at Maine Road featuring one of the best goals you will see from a central-defender by Albert who scores twice and has an assist for the other.

Always seems the forgotten game when it comes to the defining points being lost (Man U 0-1, Blackburn 1-2, Liverpool 3-4 & Forest 1-1 being the ones everyone points at). City were wank back then. I do remember as a kid that season being desperate for us to sign Kinkladze to be Beardsley's replacement though. Forget about plodders like Quinn and Rosler scoring, what a joy to watch Kinkladze, Ginola and Albert again. Wondrous football.

Never seen it back since but always had the recollection Villa were the best team we played at home for the first 15minutes...and possibly the worst (or made to look the worst) for the rest of the game. Somebody was down injured for a while and the crowd went through nearly every players chant and were acknowledged by said player - with the recollection there was one player we didn't get to. A generally underrated match/occasion when we look back at great ones.
