And waiting for the last few days where players become available and other deals break down. Hopefully we'll see some action next week/on deadline day. There must be a happy medium between not wanting to pay over the odds and waiting till the last second in the hope to get a bargain. Clubs like west ham fulham Wigan etc will get taken to the cleaners because of their predicament. I think pardew, Ashley etc are playing this well IF someone comes in! Already planning for the summer, got to make sure we get young, hungry players. Another Tiote and we'd be happy, he's been brilliant'. Also, 35 points sounds like the target to avoid relegation. While I'm not sure he should be publicly talking about his own players as Championship level playing above themselves, that is the reality if we are brutally honest.
