Rich
And who knows, maybe he was just worried Ashley would consider us "strong enough" if half a team could dispatch of WBA so easily, and so felt the need to remind him that some members of our squad are nowhere near good enough to be at this club... S.S.R.
Giving this man money to spend will be the biggest mistake we ever make. If he tries to bring N'Zogbia back, you'll be in a right double-bind.
summerof69
f***ing he'll the reactions 12th is a great season He had players running on empty Probably be a good thing in the long run dampen expectations Great? No, no, no. 7th/8th would have been a 'great' season. Perspective needed Exactly, today's game was dissapointing, but the season has been a good one. Seventeenth was what we aimed for we have finished 12th and could have had a top ten finish.
chicago_shearer
Finish top half, above sunderland, that was his goal. He didnt meet it. The very best you can say about Pardew is that he is a disappointment, not a disaster.

Darth Crooks
To be fair, if he is any sort of self-respecting professional, which I think he probably is, he'll be really disappointed with the way things panned out ....or he won't give a toss and laugh his way to the bank regardless. Pilko
That contract he has, apparently money based upon league position? I have it on good authority that Pardew is currently on the phone to the local builders telling them to cancel to kitchen extension.

Yorkie
The main thing he got wrong today was giving (an absolutely shameful) Ameobi 90 minutes. I could understand the Lua Lua swap for Ferguson, because as Rich said, the lad had largely burned out after a decent 60 minutes. Smith for Lovenkrands would make sense if Smith was remotely capable of performing as a defensive-midfielder, but again, i could see why the switch was made. Best should have been on a lot sooner, however, and it should have been for Shola. But the players should have still held their concentration for the remaining part of the game. Generally pathetic on their part.
Dokko
Would have been nice to play Tiote, a fit player that Pardew reckons he didn't have. Cunt.

JH
His substitutions and the players lacklustre defending cost us this game. Shola should have been off an absolute age before he was, Best should have been on much earlier and Smith should have been in Austrailia. Or on the moon. Guest BooBoo
Paid the price for thinking the game was done and it would be a good idea to bring on some rusty legs. Highly sloppy, big black mark against him and he'll be rightly fuming that we've tossed away a top half finish.

Mick
With the players we have had on the pitch for the 2nd half of the season we have overachieved He was partially to blame for being in the position of weakness by having a hand in us selling one of our most important players and bringing nothing in to add to what we had. I'm not even sure we've over achieved either, we've beat Wigan, West Ham, Birmingham x 2, Wolves and Liverpool. The Liverpool game was his first in charge and the players said it was for Hughton. Out of the 5 teams we've won against, 4 were in the bottom 5.
Guest BooBoo
Mick man, give it a rest. We all know that under Ashley, our managers don't have the final say regarding transfers. Read the KK judgement again, it's all there.

All of the teams you have listed have had a better strikeforce than us for the 2nd half. 12th with the squad we have had availible is a good effort
