Birmingham v Newcastle Pre-Match Thread - rearranged for Tuesday 15th February

Recommended Posts

First time around I argued with this but considering every f***er knew it was coming again and we've had a couple of weeks to prepare it's just a joke.

I spent 3 years living in the Midlands and the world seemed to stop as soon as the snow fell.

We're almost into 2011 and can't handle a bit of snow.

Probelm is that at 4-5am this morning, the ground was just very, very cold. Massive dump of snow in 2-3 hours has caused the problem (even if it's getting staff to the stadium, etc).

Different situation to the Chelsea game, where our superb groundstaff and council (ahem) had the majority of snow on the ground by Sat afternoon.

SSN there now, pitch would still be fine. It's the surrounding areas that have fucked it again.

Council's in unprepared shocker. What a load of bollocks. Really grinds my gears. People should just be left to there own devices. If you don't think it's safe - don't go. As an earlier poster said will the shops be shut today? Will they fuck?

This isn't really off? We were hit by the worst weather in decades and still managed to put a game on, its only been snowing for a day down there. Fuking southern puffs.

The answer to your question is in your own post

No snow at all in Nottingham. Bizarre.

Birmingham found not to be in Nottingham. Bizarre.

It's about 45 minutes up the road and the difference in weather is extreme. Stop being a dick for the sake of it, although you are very good at it.

Completely irrelevant comment, the weather in Nottingham is unrelated to the weather in Birmingham. you're acting as though they're at the other end of Barrack Road to each other

You'd know.

 what's twisted your knickers?

The forecast is for the snow to stop, they should just put kick off back to allow them to clear any problems.

Glad I went on the service station Wifi like. Should be back in an hour or so. Feel for all the lads and lasses who are already down there.

Load of my mates had made it down there already, in Lichfield on the lash before they called it off. Gutted for them like.
