Ashley17
Wonder if Chris will be there today, probably will, with a Spurs shirt on giving Ashley the Vs in the Directors Box when Van der Vaart completes his hat trick. Ashley will have his Spurs shirt on too, it'll be quite nice for them.
Guest BlacknWhiteArmy
Should have put Saylor at right back, Mike into CB and Simpson at LB
Wullie
Seriously, Perch is playing at LEFT BACK? Better than RB, up against Bale Whereas I'm sure he'll piss it against Lennon.
oldtype
We're resting players for a match we have little to no chance of winning to begin with. Sensible, I suppose.
Shearergol
Seriously, Perch is playing at LEFT BACK? Better than RB, up against Bale Not sure I agree. There are better left backs playing in Sunday league. At right back at least he looks like a league two player.
Guest
Maybe Barton on the right with Routledge just off Carroll?
Skirge
Smith in for Nolan Perch in for Jose... poor deluded Pardew
leffe186
To be fair it does have shades of the line-up which beat them 3-2 a few years back. Exactly what I thought, I was there too. With the level of pre-emptive negativity on this forum, I can see you getting something from this. There is no way that Carroll won't score (unless he gets sent off by a comedy ref for an innocuous aerial challenge). That said, if we hit the ground running this could be painful. I think Smith has been put on to seek and destroy VDV.
Skirge
We had so many other options for a back four Simo Willi Colo S.Taylor Sol Colo All fit and could make up a back four so why Perch ? I have no idea
Zero
Hey, hey, hey...that's the 2nd match in 3 days... I know it's ridiculous to play Smith and Perch but we have no choice aren't we?

Cajun
Not that it's really relevant but Carroll has missed loads of chances in the warm up, hopefully getting them out of the way.
